From Dan Kurahashi comes this inexpensive alternative to the H-tool. This laser-cut stainless steel tool easily triple-creases 1" and 2" nylon or dacron tapes so you can make double-folded edge binding. You can also insert an Exacto knife into it and cut the tape in half.  This tool can be screwed to a tabletop, held down by clamps or tape, or even held in place with your hand.
